Muddy kneed and keen eyed, CDS students get outdoors every day to explore and study alongside teachers who are just as excited and curious as they are. Whether their love for the outdoors instills a spirit of adventure or opens their minds to scientific wonder, our students are mentored by teachers who ignite the passion within early on. Perhaps they'll lead research
to tackle the challenges of climate change, use travel as a means to connect globally, or go on to become an Outdoor Education specialist like their teacher, Mr. Bartle '04. Wherever they land, CDS alumni pursue a life of purpose doing what they love, having enjoyed the journey along the way.
